When you click the icon, it will ask you for your Name and Phone number. You may put in your name, but it is not required. You must put in a telephone number so that Google Voice can ring that number to make it the phone on which you place the call. You can block that number so it will not show up in my Caller ID.
When you click on Connect, the phone (with the number you entered) will ring. When you pick up, you will hear it ringing Dr Quinn's number (just as if you had dialed that number from the phone you selected to make the call.) There will be no long distance charges for the call, but depending on the plan of your phone, you may be charged minutes of use.
